Basically: I agree to be respectful and play nice, and your use of the site means you agree to be respectful and play nice too. I may add more specifics to this section later as needed.

About the Email List:
Well... in short, it's a grab bag of info and sharing from me.

I'll be sharing tips, tricks, observations, musings, how-to's, challenge opportunities, and what-have-you about things I'm interested about and/or doing in my life that you might be interested in and/or doing yourself. Some may go on this site, some not. Either way, you'll get an email of the content itself or links to content posted here as soon as it posts.

I plan to at some point organize it into subject areas that you can specifically opt into and out of.. and also have them delivered on a regular basis, but really, who knows when that will happen exactly. Life happens, and I won't make promises until it is done.

For now, it's all going to be fairly random--subject-wise and frequency-wise, at least until I get back into the swing of sharing regularly again. So.. if you like grab bags, you'll love this.

*Note: the link may change over time, but the current link will be at the bottom of every email. I will try to keep the link on this policies and terms page current too. If you ever have trouble with the unsubscribe link, you can reply to the latest email and ask to be unsubscribed which should send an email to me to help you with that.

What about marketing other than emails?
If you sign up to receive emails from me, that is what you'll get (when I have emails to send, that is). If I ever decide to offer additional methods of contact other than email, I will email an announcement about it along with an opt-in for that. Your subscription to my list will not automatically add you to any other list.

What about privacy and security?
If you sign up for the mailing list I will not share your email, intentionally at least. I will do my best to keep the information secure and private. I will store the emails in my account on bulk email service providers' servers that I feel follow modern security practices. In terms of this website, I store the files on web hosting providers' servers that I feel follow modern security practices as well. I do my best to keep the website secure and private as well. That said, there is no guarantee that any of these servers will not be hacked at some point, although it would be less of a target since I do not store any financial information.

Like many sites, this site uses Google Analytics tracking codes to track website traffic. Google Analytics code will track various aspects of your visit such as session duration, pages per session, bounce rate etc. along with the information on the source of the traffic.
